Random summer stuff
We invited the local fire dept to my son's birthday. They let the kids climb all over and in the truck to try on the gas masks, sit in the drivers seat and check out the tools. Hugo got to shoot the water cannon down the street and the kids got naked and ran around in the water. My buddy Daniel who owns an eatery called Bread & Roses hosted a vintage and classic motorcycle rally on fathers day. And my brother and Alex visited so we surprised him with a visit to the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim. You drive around in your car and Buffalo, Yaks, Elks, and Peacocks follow you around and stick their heads in your window (not the peacocks) for bread. I still have Buffalo saliva all over the side of the CRV. We ended up doing a short hike to the Dungeness Spit. There's also a couple images of a recent show of black and white paintings at The Art Mine by Port Townsend painter Newel Hunter.

Nice pictures. Washington looks so beautiful and fun. I hope we can get up there at some point. What's the story with the game farm? That looks cool.
Best pic winner of this round is Hugo w/ the headphones, nice! Second place is Elk's head in Eric's lap. And, dude, since you're correcting me on bikes, they're Bison - not "Buffalo."
;)
Correction noted!
By the way, that's my brother with the lap full of Elk. We look alike, no?
We'll be in KC next week for a show at the Leedy. Matt and Melissa, Dana and Larry and Matt Wilson and his family are all coming in for it. After all this, we end up coming around full circle.
When are you joining us on this coast?
The Game Farm is sort of an outdoor zoo. But the animals come to the car to check out the humans (btw: motorcyclists commonly refer to cars as "cages").
