My first motorcycling accident in 19 years of riding. As I was entering Hwy101 out of Port Angeles, a car turned left in front of me (said they were blinded by the sun) and I t-boned their Subaru at approx 45 mph. I was launched down the freeway where I skidded a while on my face shield. After tumbling I sprinted off to the side of the road to take stock of any injuries, which there were NONE. I couldn't believe it. Luckily I had full gear on. My bike is a goner so I'm in the market again.
I hosted Art Clokey, creator of Gumby, and his family at my gallery to celebrate Gumby's 50th birthday. His son, Joe Clokey, now runs the dynasty and has just signed a motion picture deal in order to bring Gumby to the next generation of kids. The exhibition features original clay puppets, sets, props, and archival footage. It's the west coast exhibition that coincides with New York's Museum of the Moving Image (our show is 3 times the size though :))
So I finally tried out another, newer, larger Ducati. And sure enough, I didn't want to go back to my smaller 650cc bike. So I sold the Alazzurra and have a new project.
