Mentors

When back in KC recently, I was able to spend time with my three main professors: Jim Sajovic, Steve Whitacre and Wilbur Niewald. It was great to see them doing so well and making the best art of their careers.

last stop in brooklyn

Hugo's last visit to the Pratt Coffee Shop. I ate breakfast here most mornings for the last 7 years.

Molloy College

It was a big deal to have my first solo exhibition in New York with my son being able to run around during the opening. For some reason, that's how I always imagined it.

blog

I'm not sure how I feel about blogs but my friend Tina encouraged it. so I'll experiment with this and post things I find interesting. Mostly bikes & art or random snapshots for now. like this image of Ed Milich's clutch cover on his old Alazzurra. He vented it to shed some weight (he races it) and make it sound/look better. I may have to try that on mine.
